It is beautiful. It is a very deep brown, sort of a dark chocolate color. Absolutely gorgeous.
It fits like a dream on my almost-6 year old. The pom on the top sits at such an angle that it isn't annoying, just really cute.
The knitting seems very solid, I have no concerns about possible tears or falling apart within the first year.
Would purchase again.
