(More customer reviews)First, this outfit is ADORABLE. That's why I purchased it (at a flash sale site, not sure I'd pay $27+). Everyone oohed and aaahed over my boy when I brought him in wearing this for picture day. It's great that it's all one piece, too (except that the crotch won't stay closed -- see below).
The negative aspects -- it's a thick sturdy cotton, which means it wrinkles like mad and even though I took it out of the dryer immediately, I had to iron it to keep him from looking like a disheveled mess. I don't even iron my own clothes anymore, except my uniforms! The stiff material also means it can be a little difficult to get on -- and we were doing this with an outfit actually 2-3 months too big. This isn't a dealbreaker though, but you have to take your time getting the arms on. Finally, the crotch secures with Velcro-like hook and loop fasteners, and these open up really easily when I carry my son -- hence flasher crotch! I've now downgraded my review by one star because the crotch won't stay closed beyond a few calm moments -- my boy looks like he's wearing a dress in this now! This would be a four star item if they swapped the velcro for snaps, which is what I think I'll do if I ever find the time.
