(More customer reviews)This hat is wonderful. Made of soft material (no hard plastic cone inside holding it together) so baby doesn't try to tear it off his head. The straps, as another reviewer pointed out, are great because they are ribbon vs the tight, annoying string under baby's chin. I "tested" this on my son before his first birthday, and he continued on with his play as if nothing was out of the ordinary. Think it will be great on his actual birthday. Beautiful seersucker material, too!
