(More customer reviews)I love this swaddle. I bought this swaddle when my daughter was a week old and none of the other swaddles seemed to work. (She was born in November so I bought the winter version and it is GREAT) We initially used swaddle blankets and the "Swaddle Me". The blankets never stayed on and my daughter consistently wiggled out of the "Swaddle Me" and I did not like how loud the velcro was during the middle of the night diaper changes always causing her to wake up even more. She would jerk herself awake and scratch her face throughout the night. The first night I used the Woombie I was in love. It allows her to move a little, but not enough to wake herself up and she can't get her hands out no matter what she tries to scratch her face.
At first my husband was a little bothered because it looks like a baby straight jacket to him. But even with that unpleasant association he has been won over by how much more peaceful she is now. She is 3 months old now and has been sleeping through the night for at least 2 months. Now I am trying to decide if for the next size up I should stick with the original Woombie swaddle or if I should try the convertible.
