(More customer reviews)As the previous reviewer noted, the tag is sewn in and very scratchy. My son objected immediately... and I'd washed them first several times. However... he LOVES the Elmo and Cookie Monster characters, and feels very motivated to "keep Elmo dry".
Instead of scissors, I used a seam-ripper, and very carefully removed the tags. No problem with damaging the waistband, and the undies are now fine, loved, and comfortable.
However, I am surprised at the manufacturer. Come'on guys! You're making a product for tender-skinned toddlers... switch to print-on labels and ditch the tags.
