This is not one of those dresses that look good in the catalog end up being disappointingly cheap looking. The cut and the fit was just right for my daughter, who fell in love with it the moment she saw it. She is very excited to wear it to a special art event.
The bold black and white print is striking and can be nicely dressed up with some bold color touches like a fuschia purse or shoes for a designer look, given the occasion and age of the wearer. The dress is not too long, and has a regular to narrow fit as it is lined so I would consider sizing up for a growing tween. The tie bow at the back allows the waist to be cinched.
