I realized that it would most likely be large as most clothes are for the average newborn but I had no idea how large until i layed it next to her. The sizing for the whole outfit is incredibly mismatched. The hat is big enough to fit a one year old, the jacket is still to big for my 3 month old, and the pants are now too small. The outfit is adorable and the fabric is really soft but the only item we got any use out of were the booties which fit really well for the first two months. The items are nice a separates but impossible as a set.
