(More customer reviews)I washed and dried it (the tag says you can dry it) and the plastic backing fell apart. My son tends to chew on his bibs anyhow, so I'm not sure this bib would have been very safe for him to wear had it survived being washed since that plasticy stuff breaks apart and comes off so easily. Granted this bib is very affordable, but what little I paid for it was still a complete waste because he never even wore it once.
