Now, I know my figure ain't perfect...I have kids after all, but maxi dresses are meant to be flowy and comfortable and keep your body cool on a hot summer day. This was so tight that I knew the moment I tried to sit in this thing, the seams would rip open. The top section, however, was very low-cut and even a bit baggy (I'm a small C cup), so going up a size wouldn't work for the girls. There was lining up there, which was a plus for me.
The pattern is really cute and the material soft, so if you're the stick thin model-type we all love to hate, this might work for you. But for a 5'2" 120 lb. woman who had a baby last year, it was just too unkind.
